چکیده
One of the main elements for increasing energy efficiency in large-scale buildings is identified correct management and control Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, particularly those with Heat Pumps (HPs). The present study aimed to evaluate perspective savings achievable implementation an optimal HVAC HPs. proposed measures involve use a variable air volume system, demand-controlled ventilation, energy-aware heat recovery equipment, improved pump chiller supply water temperature. analysis has been applied academic building located Pisa carried out by means dynamic simulation. achieved saving can approach values more than 80% if compared actual plants based on fossil fuel technologies. A major part this linked pumps as thermal generators well efficient emphasizing importance such straightforward reducing intensity buildings.

Predictive Control of Multizone HVAC Systems in Non-residential Buildings
In France, buildings account for a large part of the energy consumption and carbon emissions. Both are mainly due to Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems. So, the present work deals with the predictive control of multizone HVAC systems in nonresidential buildings. We used the PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) index as a thermal comfort indicator and developed low-order ANN-based mod...

In France, non-residential buildings account for a significant part in energy consumption. Moreover, a large part of this consumption is due to Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems, which are generally badly handled. So, the present work deals with an efficient approach allowing energy consumption to be minimized while ensuring thermal comfort. In this sense, a predictive co...

In recent years, the issue of energy consumption modeling techniques in the building sector has been widely considered by researchers and managers. Researches indicate that energy consumption in residential sector is one of the main parts of the total consumption. Moreover, the urban residence is supposed as a significant consumer of energy in every country and therefore a focus for energy cons...

The impact of shade on the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) energy consumption in buildings is not automatically included in whole building energy simulations. Using transient system simulation (TRNSYS) software, models of the Union County Housing Authority’s energy efficient duplex enable the calculation of a monetary value for shading from trees, adjacent buildings, or shade ...
متن کاملPerformance assessment of heat pump systems in non-residential buildings by means of dedicated simulation models
A possibility of increasing interest for reducing the energy consumption in office and health care buildings consist in better exploiting the potential of the heat pump technology. This can be done by recovering heat at the condenser when the chiller is used to produce cold (simultaneous heating and cooling demands) or by using the chiller in heat pump mode (non-simultaneous heating and cooling...
